Berlin once again became a meeting point for the global technology industry as IFA 2026 brought new ideas in AI, consumer electronics and wearable technology together. Taking part at IFA, INMO showcased the INMO GO3 AI Glasses for visitors to experience for themselves.
The week also brought two notable recognitions for GO3. The glasses were named an IFA Innovation Award 2026 Honoree and selected for Yanko Design’s Best of IFA 2026, adding recognition from both IFA’s official awards program and independent international design media.
Two Honors for INMO GO3
With products assessed by an independent international jury across technology, functionality, design, innovation and their potential value for users. GO3 was named an IFA Innovation Awards Honoree in Best in IFA Next & Emerging Technologies, a category focused on technologies pointing toward the next stage of consumer electronics.
The GO3 also appeared in Yanko Design’s Best of IFA 2026, where the publication focused on the way INMO approached two long-standing challenges in smart glasses: bulk and battery life. GO3 weighs around 58 grams, with temples measuring approximately 8 mm at their thinnest point, while magnetic replaceable batteries can be swapped in around five seconds instead of requiring the entire pair of glasses to stop for charging.
Yanko Design summed up the approach simply: “INMO built a pair of glasses that finally treats battery anxiety as a design problem, not just a spec to apologize for.”

AI Smart Glasses Built Around Everyday Use
GO3 is designed around practical situations where having information directly in view can make a difference. The INMO GO3 AI Glasses support translation from 78 source languages into 98 target languages, with live subtitles, offline translation across nine languages and photo translation helping users communicate and understand information while travelling or working across languages.

The same approach extends into work and navigation. An AI teleprompter can keep presentation notes visible, meeting tools support recording, transcription and summaries, while HERE Maps provides walking and cycling directions directly in the display. Together, these features position GO3 around communication, productivity and getting around without making a phone the center of each interaction.
A Look Ahead at the INMO Future Lab
Alongside GO3, the INMO Future Lab offered a brief look at ideas being explored beyond the current product line. Concept products INMO Moment and MAGIC AI Glasses were shown as early explorations in AI, wearable technology and eyewear design, with no commercial release plans or full specifications announced.
Their presence gave visitors a glimpse at where INMO may take wearable computing next, while GO3 remained the clearest example of how those ideas are already being applied to communication, work and navigation today.
Where AI Smart Glasses Go Next
IFA 2026 gave INMO a broader story to tell than an award announcement alone. GO3 received recognition from both IFA’s official awards program and independent design media, but the product’s role at the show went beyond the honors themselves. Visitors could see how AI smart glasses are being applied to practical situations such as multilingual conversations, presentations, meetings and navigation.

For INMO, that combination of current use cases and future exploration made Berlin a showcase not only for what GO3 has achieved, but for how smart glasses may continue becoming a more natural part of everyday computing.
